The confined, almost claustrophobic neighborhood creates a sense of trapped tension. I'm curious how much the author envisioned the setting shaping the characters' actions.

Some characters kept me guessing about their true intentions. I wonder if the author intended all of them to be morally gray or if some were meant to be more sympathetic.

The blend made for a compelling read, but I'm curious whether this combination was planned from the start or evolved during writing to deepen the suspense.
