The setting really immerses you in the holiday spirit, but I wonder how much of that was planned versus evolved during writing. Did the holiday backdrop influence the characters' choices?

I loved the chemistry, but the shift felt quick after building up the friendship. Was that intentional to keep the story light, or do others think it could’ve been fleshed out more?
