The way gaming influences the characters felt so seamless and immersive. I'm curious whether this was inspired by real cyberculture or pure imagination.

I loved the world-building but found myself losing track at times — was that intentional to reflect the complexity of hacking and cybernetics?

It feels so prescient and unsettling. I wonder if the author drew from current trends or envisioned a totally different future.
