The retellings feel fresh but also unsettling at times. I'm curious whether this was inspired by a desire to challenge traditional narratives or to explore deeper themes.

The characters are morally grey, which made me question my own judgments. Am I the only one who found myself sympathizing with the villains sometimes?

The atmosphere is so immersive and haunting; I wonder if it was mapped out in detail from the start or developed organically during writing.
