The setting feels so vivid and layered — I wonder what the author envisioned when creating this complex world, and whether it was based on any real history or entirely imagined.

Her struggle with duty versus personal desire really made me think about how much we’re willing to sacrifice for power. I’d love to hear others' thoughts on her character arc.
