Louis's unflinching honesty really brought Eddy’s struggles to life. I wonder what inspired the choice to be so brutally open about sensitive topics.

The book made me root for Eddy but also made me uncomfortable with some of the harsh realities he faces. Am I the only one who felt this conflicted emotion?
