The city feels alive with its own rules and atmosphere. I'm curious whether the setting was based on a real place or entirely imagined from scratch.

While I loved the world-building, the middle sections felt a bit slow. Was that part of the plan to build tension or just how the story evolved?

The characters felt layered, but I wonder if the focus on world-building sometimes overshadowed their personal arcs.
