The world-building feels so authentic and detailed — I wonder if the author drew from real locations or created a completely fictional universe.

I loved how each character had shades of gray, but sometimes I wondered if their choices were entirely believable. What did others think about their development?

The pacing kept me hooked, but I’m curious whether the author planned the ebb and flow from the start or adjusted during writing.
