Outlaw Red

Kjelgaard often wrote about animals with a sense of authenticity — I wonder if he drew from real stories or personal experiences.

That scene really made me root for him, but it also made me think about the resilience of animals and their loyalty.

The pacing kept me engaged, but I’m curious if the focus on Red’s journey was intentional to highlight these themes.
