The dark, eerie setting adds so much to the suspense and romance. I wonder if the author drew inspiration from classic Gothic tales or created something totally unique.

The relationship was tender but tinged with danger, which made me question how much trust to place in the characters. Am I the only one who felt this emotional tug-of-war?

The paranormal aspects felt integral to the plot and character arcs. I'm curious whether the author envisioned these powers from the start or developed them as the story evolved.
