The world-building is rich and detailed — I wonder if the author drew from existing folklore or crafted it entirely from imagination.

Their chemistry is palpable, but the obstacles they face made me wonder how much of their relationship was driven by magic versus genuine emotion.

The pacing kept me on the edge of my seat, but I’m curious if this was a conscious choice to heighten the emotional stakes throughout.
