Switching between characters added layers to the story, but I wonder if that was planned from the start or evolved during writing.

The lines between right and wrong blurred beautifully, making me question how I’d act in their shoes. Was that intentional?

The atmosphere felt so vivid and claustrophobic—did the author base it on a real place or create it entirely from imagination?
