The blend of horror and paranormal creates such a tense atmosphere. I wonder if the author based the ghostly parts on personal experiences or folklore.

The way the characters’ relationships were tested made the stakes feel even higher. I’m curious how much of that was drawn from real teen dynamics.

The pacing kept me guessing, but I wondered if the shift between suspense and supernatural was planned from the start or evolved organically during writing.
