The setting adds a layer of tension and mystery that really draws the reader in. I wonder if the author based it on a real place or crafted it entirely from imagination.

The line between right and wrong was blurred at times, which made me question how far someone should go to seek justice. Would I have acted differently in that situation?

The pacing kept me hooked, but I’m curious whether the multiple plot threads were mapped from the start or if they came together organically.
