Fate Knows Best

The way the characters' destinies seem preordained but still have room for choice made me wonder how much control they really have. What do others think about this balance?

The world-building felt so seamless — I’m curious whether this was planned from the beginning or evolved as the story developed. It added a nice layer of realism to the paranormal elements.

The lighthearted moments really balanced the more intense scenes, but I wonder if that was intentional to keep the story from feeling too heavy. Did anyone else find themselves smiling at unexpected times?
