Dragons of the Highlord Skies

Their dual nature adds so much depth to the story. I wonder if Weis drew inspiration from real-world mythologies or crafted them entirely from her imagination.

I loved the action moments but found myself wanting more dragon battles. Are those slow parts necessary for building the world and characters?

The setting is so unique and vivid. I’m curious whether Weis envisioned the whole world from the start or if it developed during writing.
