The diary format gave the story an intimate feel, but I'm curious whether this was a conscious choice from the start or developed during writing.

The slow reveal of feelings made me root for the characters, but I wonder if it was intentional to keep the emotional stakes subtle.

The conclusion felt both satisfying and a little wistful — was that the mood the author aimed for, or did it evolve during the writing process?
