The world-building feels so visceral and believable. I'm curious whether real-world issues or future fears influenced the setting.

I found myself wanting more action, but I wonder if the slower sections were meant to build tension or character depth.

The tech elements felt very grounded, but I was also really invested in the characters’ moral dilemmas. Wondering how those choices were made during writing.
