The familiar fairy tale elements are reimagined in a futuristic world with androids and space politics. I'm curious whether the story was always meant to blend these genres or if it evolved during writing.

Her being treated as second-class citizens because of her cyborg identity added a layer of social commentary. It made me wonder how much of her struggles mirror real-world issues of discrimination.

The mix of high-tech settings and fairy tale motifs worked well, but I wonder what choices went into integrating these aspects seamlessly and what was left to the imagination.
