The atmosphere of Catherine House feels so immersive — I wonder if the author drew from real Gothic locations or crafted it entirely from imagination.

Her actions are so ambiguous, which made me question whether she's a victim of her environment or complicit in the darker aspects of the school.

The eerie atmosphere really amplified those themes, but I’m curious whether the author intended the Gothic vibe to symbolize something deeper about the characters’ inner struggles.
