The icy landscape feels so vivid and atmospheric — I wonder if it was inspired by personal experience or a desire to create a stark contrast with the fiery chemistry between characters.

The powers and mythos added a layer of intrigue, but at times I wondered if the romance was overshadowed or perfectly balanced with the paranormal aspects.

The spice level was just right for me, but I’m curious whether that was a conscious choice to emphasize intimacy or if it evolved naturally during writing.
