Yong's approach feels so immersive and detailed—I'm curious what sparked his fascination with these hidden worlds and how he decided which senses to focus on.

Some of these senses seemed straight out of science fiction, making me wonder how much of our reality is just a tiny part of what actually exists around us.

Realizing how animals experience their environment differently might change how we protect their habitats. Has anyone thought about this connection before?
