The tension between the characters felt so visceral and real, but I wonder if the darkness was inspired by personal experiences or just a creative choice.

Their actions are so manipulative and intense, but I couldn't help but be drawn to their chemistry. Am I the only one who felt guilty liking this?

The intimacy in their point of view made the darkness feel even more personal. I'm curious whether this was planned from the start or developed during writing.
