The atmosphere of exclusivity and hidden secrets really heightens the suspense. I wonder if the author drew from real institutions or created this world entirely from imagination.

Their actions often crossed moral lines, but I was still invested in their stories. It made me wonder how much empathy we can have for flawed characters in dark stories.

The pacing kept me guessing but also allowed for moments of introspection. I’m curious whether this was planned from the start or evolved during writing.
