Unexpected Healer

The mix of RPG mechanics and traditional fantasy is so unique — I wonder if it came from Brooks's gaming background or a love for both genres.

The whimsical moments really balanced the adventure, but I’m curious if others found it made the darker elements stand out even more.

It’s refreshing to see a healer as the hero instead of the typical warrior or mage. I’d love to know what led to choosing this particular role for the main character.
