The story shifted tone and focus midway through, and I wonder if that was a deliberate choice to deepen the themes or just me.

The characters’ moral struggles felt very real, but I kept questioning whether the ambiguity was satisfying or frustrating.

The shifting viewpoints added depth but also complexity. I’m curious whether this was planned from the start or developed during drafting.
