The book makes history so fun and gross at the same time. I'm curious if the author aimed to make history more memorable or just to entertain kids with the weirdest stories.

The jokes and funny facts really brought the characters and setting to life. I wonder if that approach helps kids connect better with history than traditional methods.

The stories are so bizarre that I kept wondering how much was straight from history and how much was exaggerated for laughs. Would love to know the balance the author struck.
