The description of the lake house and summer traditions really transported me. I wonder how much of that was based on the author's own experiences.

The story beautifully balances romance with family drama, but I’m curious if that was a conscious decision or evolved during writing.

The build-up was lovely, but I felt like some scenes dragged a bit. Do others think that was intentional to build character depth?
