The Rivers of Zadaa

The world-building around the rivers feels so vivid and integral to the story. I'm curious whether this was inspired by real landscapes or purely imagined.

I loved the character development during that section, but I wondered if the story was intentionally giving us a breather before the action picks up again.

It added so much depth to the story, but I’d love to know if the author drew from real-world conflicts or if it was entirely fictional.
