The orc society feels so detailed and nuanced — I wonder if it’s based on existing lore or entirely Salvatore's creation. How did he decide to humanize orcs in this way?

The story seemed to focus a lot on shifting alliances and power plays. I loved the depth, but I'm curious if others found the action scenes as engaging or if they preferred the strategic parts.

The multiple viewpoints added richness but also made me wonder about the author's process in balancing each character’s arc. Was this structure planned from the start?
