The detailed magic system and fae politics made the story come alive. I wonder if the author developed a lore bible or if it evolved naturally during writing.

Their struggles with identity and belonging felt very real. It made me think about how coming-of-age stories can also be stories of self-acceptance.

The slow burn was satisfying but kept me on edge. Did others feel the pacing around the romance was just right or a little too drawn out?
