The way the dragons are described made me wonder if the author drew inspiration from specific mythologies or created a new mythology entirely.

I found myself wanting more action, but I also appreciated the tension. Did others feel the same or was it just me?

The detailed world-building really pulled me in, and I’m curious whether the author visualized this city from real places or invented it from scratch.
