The detailed fantasy setting really drew me in, but I wonder how much of it was mapped out in advance versus evolved during writing.

While I loved the depth, those parts felt a bit slower compared to the action scenes. Was that intentional to build tension or just how the story naturally unfolded?

The characters felt real amidst the grand world, but I’m curious whether the focus on the world-building impacted how much time was spent with each character.
