The concept of gods that move and influence the world at a glacial pace is intriguing. I wonder if this was inspired by philosophical ideas about divine detachment or a desire to subvert traditional divine portrayals.

There’s a real tension in how characters’ motivations evolve, especially when they gain or lose influence. It made me think about how fragile authority can be and whether this mirrors real-world dynamics.

The pacing of revelations kept me hooked, but I’m curious whether the structure was planned from the start or if it evolved during writing to maximize suspense.
