The Fae characters felt so enigmatic—simultaneously captivating and threatening. I wonder what inspired this dual nature in their depiction.

The details about the magic and politics drew me in completely, but I’m curious if all of it was mapped out beforehand or evolved during writing.

The setting added so much mood and tension. I wonder if the author based it on a real place or created it entirely from imagination.
