The descriptions of the alien planet and species felt quick, but I wanted more depth. Was that the author's intention or just pacing?

It’s interesting how the book combines paranormal magic with futuristic tech. I wonder what inspired that mash-up.

The chemistry was obvious early on, but I still enjoyed the ride. Did others feel the same or was it just me?
