The world-building around the aliens felt so immersive — I wonder if it was inspired by existing sci-fi lore or entirely from the author's imagination.

The lines between captor and protector blurred in a way that made me question who was truly in the wrong. Would love to hear others' thoughts.

The pacing of tension and tenderness was really well done — I’m curious if that was a conscious choice or evolved naturally during writing.
