The blend of horror and mystery feels so seamless. I'm curious whether he plans out the supernatural aspects in advance or lets them evolve naturally during writing.

The story raises some tough dilemmas that made me question what I would do in their place. Were those dilemmas intentional to provoke reflection or just a storytelling device?

The atmosphere really amplifies the horror elements, but I wonder if the setting was based on a real place or created from scratch to evoke certain feelings.
