The bookstore setting feels so inviting and integral to the plot. I wonder if the author has a personal connection to bookstores or if it was chosen to evoke that cozy, intimate atmosphere.

The buildup was engaging, but the middle felt a little slower than the rest. Was that intentional to build suspense or just how the story naturally unfolded?
