The atmosphere of Mercy Falls adds so much to the story — I wonder what inspired the choice of this particular town and its unique character.

The characters often walk a fine line between right and wrong, which made me question my own assumptions about justice. Did others find themselves sympathizing with characters on both sides?

The tension gradually increased, but I was curious whether this was a deliberate choice to deepen suspense or just how the story evolved.
