The game and the locker room scenes felt so authentic — I wonder if the author has a sports background or did research to bring this world alive.

Their struggles with trust and forgiveness felt real to me, but I’m curious if others found the emotional depth convincing or if it felt a bit rushed.

The pacing felt well-managed, but I’d love to know whether the focus was more on the romance or the game, and how that balance was struck during writing.
