The intensity really ramped up, and I wonder if this was planned from the start or a response to reader reactions. Did anyone else feel the shift was well-earned?

I loved the small details that made characters feel more real, but I’m curious if there are clues writers left for upcoming volumes I might have missed.

They felt fresh but also complex—I'd love to hear what influenced their design and motivations, and how that shaped the story.
