Ice Like Fire

The buildup was great, but the connection seemed to develop very quickly. Was that intentional to keep the pace or just me?

The vivid descriptions of the frozen landscape really drew me in, but I wonder how much of it was based on real places or pure imagination.

The emotional depth added so much to the story, and I’m curious whether this was planned from the start or developed during writing.
