The world-building around shapeshifter society felt rich and detailed. I wonder what inspired the author to create this particular mythology.

Their chemistry really stood out, but I’m curious whether the slow build was planned or developed during writing. Did anyone else feel the same?

Some parts were fast-paced while others slowed down — was that a conscious choice to build tension or just how the story evolved?
