The world-building feels authentic and immersive — I wonder how much of the security detail background was planned from the start or developed during writing.

The romance added depth without overshadowing the danger, but I’m curious if the author aimed for a specific emotional rhythm throughout.

It kept me on the edge of my seat but also allowed for intimate character development. Was this balance something that evolved during drafts?
