The pacing felt quite even, but I wonder if the author intentionally focused more on the emotional depth or if it was a natural outcome of the story's progression.

The setting felt so vivid and lived-in, I’m curious if the author spent a lot of time mapping out the environment before writing or let it evolve naturally.

The concept of human survival and adaptation in an alien environment really resonated with me. I wonder what sparked the idea to explore this particular setting.
