The shifting viewpoints added layers to the mystery, but I wonder if that was planned from the start or evolved during writing. Did it help build suspense or make the story harder to follow?

Their struggles with justice versus personal loyalty felt very real to me. I’m curious if others found themselves sympathizing more with the victim or the detective.

The small-town atmosphere with its dark secrets created a very tense backdrop. I’d love to know what led to choosing this particular environment for the mystery.
