The tension between the terrifying post-apocalyptic setting and the developing romantic bond kept me hooked. Did the author strike the right tone for everyone else?

The world-building felt gritty and immersive. I wonder if the author based it on real events or created it entirely from imagination.

Some characters’ motives seemed ambiguous, which added suspense but also made me question who was truly trustworthy. Did others find it confusing or kept them guessing?
