The dragons in Blackthorn Grove feel so layered and almost human at times. I'm curious whether this was a conscious choice to deepen their role or if it evolved naturally during writing.

The chemistry between the characters was intense, but the slow build made me wonder if the romance was always meant to be central or if it grew from the story's events.
