Biscuit

The gentle tone makes it perfect for young children, but I wonder if the author aimed to create a calming bedtime read or something else.

The illustrations and simple words make Biscuit so expressive — I’m curious how much of that was planned versus brought out during illustration.

They seem to add so much personality and emotion. I’d love to hear if others think the artwork is as much a part of the storytelling as the words.
